Work conservatively, explain the limits of what a treatment can do, and leave well alone when that is the better answer.
Yousef is a UK-registered pharmacist. He is Superintendent Pharmacist and co-owner of Carewise Pharmacy, and co-founded YMK Clinic with his brother.
He has undertaken advanced training in facial aesthetics, anatomy and ultrasound-guided practice.
A pharmacist's working day is built around checking. What else somebody takes, what they've reacted to before, whether the dose in front of you makes sense for the person in front of you, and whether anybody has actually explained it to them.
That habit is difficult to switch off, and he hasn't tried to. Consultations with him tend to involve more questions about your medical history than people expect from an aesthetics appointment.
He also spends a lot of time on the gap between what somebody has been told a treatment does and what it does.
Conservative, and openly so. He would rather do less and review than do more and manage a result nobody wanted.
The aim is that you still look like yourself. If people can tell you've had something done, in his view the plan was wrong.
Facial ultrasound may be used where clinically appropriate to support anatomical assessment or treatment planning.
Yousef assesses patients and carries out treatment. Cases get talked through between the two of us before anything is agreed, which is one of the few genuine advantages of a clinic this small.
