What actually happens
when we meet.
You sit down with one of us and we talk. We go through your medical history and any medicines you take, then examine the area you're concerned about and the face around it.
Then we talk through what's realistic. What a treatment can change, what it can't, and what a sensible plan looks like for you specifically.
If treatment is appropriate we go through what's involved, what can go wrong and how we'd handle it. Anti-wrinkle treatment involves a prescription-only medicine, so it depends on consultation, an assessment of suitability and an appropriate prescribing process. Facial ultrasound may be used where clinically appropriate to support anatomical assessment or treatment planning.
£50 deposit, which comes off the cost of any treatment you go on to have.

YMK Clinic was set up by two brothers. Dr Mostafa Khalil is our Co-Founder and Clinical Lead. He's in higher specialist training in ophthalmology, a surgical specialty, and operates and runs eye clinics in the NHS in Glasgow.
Yousef Khalil is our other Co-Founder, a UK-registered pharmacist, and Superintendent Pharmacist and co-owner of Carewise Pharmacy. His background is in medicines: how they work, how they interact and when they shouldn't be used.
Both of us assess patients and carry out treatment. You'll be seen by one of us, not by someone we've delegated to.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatments
A prescription-only medicine used to soften the lines that form when you move your face. Subject to consultation and an assessment of suitability.
Lip Enhancement
Dermal filler used to change shape, definition or proportion. How much, and whether at all, depends on what your lips already do.
Cheek Enhancement
Filler placed to support the midface. Useful for some faces, unnecessary in others.
Chin Enhancement
Filler used to change the projection or shape of the chin, usually judged from the side as well as the front.
Jawline Enhancement
Filler along the jaw to change definition. We assess the whole lower face, not the jaw in isolation.
Profhilo
An injectable treatment aimed at skin quality rather than shape or volume.
Polynucleotides
An injectable treatment used to address skin quality and texture in specific areas.
Full Face Rejuvenation
A plan rather than a single treatment, made after looking at the face as a whole.

Our main clinic is in Edinburgh, inside Carewise Pharmacy in Polwarth. We also run monthly clinics in Aberdeenshire, Dundee and Glasgow. Dates and availability are shown when you book.

We'll go through your medical history, the medicines you take and anything you've had done before, then examine the area and talk through what's realistic for you.
These are medical treatments and they carry risks. Dermal fillers can cause uncommon but serious complications, and we'll explain what those are and what we do about them.
